SHE was a new face representing the PeopleÂ’s Action Party, but when Ms Denise Phua surfed the Internet during the recent General Election, the tone of the postings stunned her. They were overwhelmingly slanted against the ruling party.
May I ask her:
(1) If Straits Times witheld my letters to the forum page like :"Proposal to Review the Constitution of Singapore" and withdrew another "Accountability and Transparency of government" because such letters were too sensitive to the government, then where would Denise expect me to write my letters to ?
(2) If Channel News Asia banned me from posting because of my views pointing our "20 major policy errors of the government" or "Leadership requied in the new age", where can I as a citizen get my views published or discussed.
(3) I observed that there were quite a number of pro-government Salmans who came here to post very strong pro-government views on various issues from NKF to democracy issues with constant praising of government leaders of their past 40 years of achievements.
So how sure is Denise of her allegation that 85% of the posting in the webs are too one-sided and the government has no part in giving its side of the stories?
Denise is welcome to reply to my posts on "20 Major policy errors of government", "Definition of True democracy", "NKF can of worms", "Proposal to review the Constitution of Singapore" to make my views more balanced or less one-sided. I will do my best to give her due credit to her better arguments and logics where Salman or Pandan have failed to do so.
