Sorry fellow dragg..I had to number it to discuss.
1) Cost - demand and supplies issue..hence no demand will be oversupply and then price will come down.

Actually everything including fuel etc is the same. Only thing is that some are world issue while others may be localised issue

. World issue beyong our control. Localised issue can be moderated but I wouldn't advise to subsidise.
Anything that is subsidised will come with another price tag that will be paid by other source of income. Let it be a free market..only thing is that advise singaporean to stop demanding..in hope of price drop..

(Wishful thinking)
2) Create more jobs - I strongly agreed on the conditions that it is quality paid and singaporean 1st priority..Else it will be a defeat of all purposes that jobs are created where they are 1/2 hunger or taken by foreigners..(Note..I don't even mentioned "Talents"). My definition of foreigner talents must have established track record in their own country for at least 10 years and minimum wage of $1M at least.
3) Cut!!!!. No way. OK. Instead of cutting..I would use the term "stay together, move forward"..applied great proposal of flexible wage system and performance bonus system that was encouraged by the NTUC to all industries. A minimum acceptable wages by them. They will deinitely have perform to obtain the performance bonus. Instead that better?. I believed that our government will be the 1st one and most willing to accept it.
Wouldn't it be better and more rationale?
Please don't scold me if my english is still poor..
