In response to information from the public at about noon on Sunday 10 Sep 06,(2006) Police officers arrived at Raffles City and observed that a group of persons were in possession of stacks of pamphlets and were handing out these pamphlets to members of the public. One of these persons was identified to be Chee Soon Juan. These pamphlets urged the public to take part in an outdoor rally and stage a march on Sat 16 Sep 06 from Speaker's Corner. The Police seized these pamphlets and investigations have been initiated.
2.the guys in US State Dept will be very happy CSJ take action
and as expected,would be detained if rally and march
carried on.If not,what else they can write on Sg for the yearly
report.
3..The Police would like to remind the public and visitors that Chee's planned outdoor rally and march as conveyed in the pamphlet is unlawful and anyone participating in it would be committing an offence.

if you cannot even march peacefully in your own nation, that can only mean that the laws are archaic.

it is allright for political party to call the people to follow his party's
rally and march.
but the party must tell the people that this march and rally is illegal.
Let the people to decide to join this illegal.
CSJ call for pple to assembly at Speaker's Corner ,then start the march.
This will be a misunderstanding by many pple that the assembly
and rally are legal.

it will be illegal for him to call for pple to gather there,

6.CSJ blamed everyone excepy himself for summary judgement.
Why summary judgement?It was he failed to submit his defence
on time.If he had submitted the defence,there would be open hearing
and he might had a chance to cross exam 2 LEE.The High Court ruled in favour of the two leaders after the SDP failed to file a defence for defamatory remarks made in the January edition of its newspaper.

7.CSJ and his lawyer had not done preperly to get open
hearing--ie failed to submit defence either OVERLOOKED or
done in on purposes.For the latter,now they can tell western supporters,
''Look, PAP carried out the hearing in Chambers without open
gearing.Even in Chambers without me
or without present of my lawyer.''
But he would not tell them that ravi was sick----sometimes CSJ said
he was too fatigue ,but another time because of teeth problem.
His learned lawyer failed to turn up on the morning of hearing.
8.The scripts and screens were well written in advance.
This is the best way to make sure CHEE SOON JUAN would be mentioned in the most democratic US's Dept of Statement HUMAN RIGTS report
every year.

I'm not going to launch a lengthy tirade against the government and all that, but WHEN I SEE OLD MEN AND WOMEN, instead of leading a happy, dignified life with their families, I SEE THEM DIGGING INTO TRASHBINS FOR EMPTY CANS TO SELL TO GET MONEY FOR FOOD, i feel our system has really really shafted them.

CSJ predicted correctly that LEES ARE afraid appear in open
court and crossed exam by him!
CSJ set the stage and wrote the scripts and let LEES NO NEED
appear in the witness box.

Singaporean activist Mr Seelan Pillai has been arrested. The SDP can confirm that Mr Pillai, who started the 400 frowns campaign to counter the Government's 4 million smiles project, is now under custody at the Clementi Police Station.

police said 3 men voluntaily went to Clementi Police station
to give statement and left in the morning of 14.09.2006.
Polce said they had not been arrested.

SDP chief Chee Soon Juan addresses crowd at Speakers' Corner
SINGAPORE : Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) chief Chee Soon Juan and his supporters turned up at the Speakers' Corner for a planned march on Saturday.
Dr Chee addressed the crowd at Hong Lim Park and asked them to join him in a march to the Parliament House.
He walked to the junction of North Canal Road and South Bridge Road where he was advised by the police not to proceed with the march as outdoor demonstrations were not allowed.
Dr Chee and his supporters had been standing at the junction since Saturday morning.
The incident attracted the attention of passers-by and the media.
Police said they are investigating the matter.
They added that Dr Chee was still at the Speakers' Corner at 10.15pm, accompanied by his group of associates with a crowd of 20 bystanders.
