SINGAPOREANS... WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM...
Do you know that what you've become today often most possibly has got something to do with 3 main things...?
1. YOUR ENVIRONMENT
2. THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU
3. YOUR MENTALITY
At this point, I would like to put forth that I would be speaking minimal of the 3rd point... Not that it's not important... But... That's really more to your own control... (If people put you in a pile of sh|t, expect you to believe it's chocolate.. If your mentality is adjustable to that, you might still achieve it...?) Enough said.
THINK of.... The people around you... Being in the same environment as you.... Background culture... Society.. CREATING people like yourself....
MANY which are EASY to TAME... YET STRESSED.... Boiling water with nowhere to release your steam.....
People who are RUDE... LOW in birth rate.. Lousy in sex... Inconsiderate and not into SERVICE CONCEPT...
In other words... People UNDER STRESS... And SURE, stress CAN be MANAGED... But doesn't help if PRESSURE keeps coming on....?
Do you know WHY SAF is treating the soldiers so much better these days...? 5 days week....? Family day...?
WATCH... It's also a slow way of 'cover up' and track recovery... For mistakes made on policies of the past.. Why 'smile to you' today?
while among all these, telling you people that you're LOUSY and you're RESPONSIBLE for all these... Ever heard of the saying "A child upbringing is closely related to his / her parents"...?
If you can't be a parent why try to act like one? -

it's the mentality that drives a person's behavior and attitude. there're many factors of why singaporeans behave this way. it's not only singapore, countries like america and europe also experience the same thing.
why? it's because of the individualistic culture and society that shape people's attitude towards one another.
ever heard of the herd mentality? it's common here in singapore. u might be one of them too u know.

You can see in TV news...our multi-millions dollars mini-stars acted and behaved like super billionaire in presence of other countries' mini-stars...and I saw and felt that the other countries' mini-stars or officials become like a small mice infront of our mini-stars..ya.
So.......how do you expect we the peasants to be so humble hah?..... and soooo.... good.....in servicing lines..hah?....., we are proud singaporeans with proud first world govt.. wah..... then we also have to behave or act like peanutaire wah.....

Probably not. Because whatever policies the gahment make out probably have very far-linked butterfly effect on your hamster... Unless your gahment make some stupid policies to make your family miserable and you killed yourself because you can't cope with the fact that you're already working like sh|t but it's barely enough to keep your family alive.. With accumulating bills and your gf just wish you've got at least reasonable financial stability and would be there to spend adequate time with her when she needs you.. And guess who's somehow responsible for the individualistic culture and society...? The herds? Well.. To an extent... Yes.. I'll agree with that... But how about the shepherd?
The result why I did not really touch on 'mentality' is because it's really a complicated issue... And for one to break free from the 'herd mentality'? It really depends on how much control your shepherd has over you... Not everyone could jump over the fence and not be eaten by a big bad wolf... Then again... Does that mean those who can't deserves to be slaughtered? Have they not been teached to stick to the herd...? Warned -

Nobody condemn Indonesia, Timor Leste, Nepal, and other countries that are not doing well.
