Hmm... heard that lu xiulian, the vice president, actually hinted ah bian to step down as well by commenting that the politcians should be corrupt-free.
Actually ma yingjiu should side lu xiulian so as to cause ah bian's party to form internal split. -

I don't think they wayang..KMT got their own interest, except now they became the opposition party only.
Without KMT - a strong opposition party, I don't think anything will come out from the scandal..and President Chen never uses security forces to cramp the opposition down, this proved that Taiwan is really democratic state..I don't think Chinese leader will ever allow that to happen in China.
Anyway, I dont think President Chen had been in Singapore instead we had seen KMT chief here...interesting to know that. Maybe he looked down on us..the small red dot. -

as for y ma ying jiu is so popular is cos he defeated ah bian in election be4 during the taipei mayorship election . Therefore he is like a god expected to be 2008 president .
KMT under his leadership will grow string whereas DDP has lost many support due to ah bian 's refusal to stepdown and lin to many scandals .
