For the laugh-of-your-life, check out this website . Not, it's not a tribute to our recently retired minister.
I suppose that the accussed would have sued the slanderous person who posted the info IF they could. So, why hasn't this website been wiped-off the face of the earth or the owner bankrupted yet? I think:
1) Maybe the website is registered overseas,
2) Maybe the website owner is not S'porean,
3) Maybe some skeletons are best kept 6-feet under (i.e. to sue someone for slander, you must acutally prove that the statements are false...) -

The website was linked to the other website -"Escape from Paradise" - which was set up to promote a book of the life of a Singaporean lady, but whose book was banned by Yeo's wife; and it ignited this personal vendatta via another website - "The Banning of Escape from Paradise ".
Both the book and other information on all the sites have been remarkably illuminating, and bring the reader into the "little known world" of the "Rich and Powerful", the intimidation and power play, the crafty use of power to corner a deal.
How many of us - living a mundane life of an average Singaporean - will ever come close to such confrontation ? -

The authors of Escape From Paradise should go a step further and see their characters in the book come to life on the big screens. They can approach Raintree Pictures and work towards making a movie together. -
Problem is, this way they may have to reveal themselves and open themselves to serious litigation (sometimes even if you're in the right, you dun win in a singapore court, political influence matters here.). Besides, after the movie was made, it might not be able to be shown to the target audience, as in the singaporeans. Saw the website and it is a bad taste as well as a personal agenda to bring Y and H down on purpose for the reason selling books ? Way too petty and narrow minded of the author, thus not worth reading the author's books anyway.
