Not forgetting also those other constituencies that had no opportunity to participate in the recent Elections, when there were no candidates resulting in walk-over for the incumbents.
Forty-five years of manipulating of the national psychic, and the constant gerry-meandering of the election system has given the incumbent political victory.
Fortunatley for Singapore, there is hope for the future when six newbies can dent the 80% expectation of winning votes from an "experienced " politician such as PM LHL - it tells alot of the ground swell support.
To those who prefer not to see the same views as those who are supportive to the Alternative Parties, let the myopia continue.
The day of reckoning will come inspite of your condescending and dismissive views that simply shows disrespect towards the different experiences and circumstances from different sectors of Singapore population.
These are the typical condiscending and dismissive views that reflect the arrogance towards the general Singaporean population calls for change by the POWER OF ONE.
Can someone who claim to be a doctor and living in a different world understand those Singaporeans - who have to face economic and social problems of day-to-day scratching the bottom of a barrel - and who have given their support with the Alternative Parties ?
You are probably the breed of professional whom SM GCT has said will only change your profession and move into politics, only when assured of a win.
Sadly, if you cannot agree with the politics of the POWER OF ONE, and cannot accept the "manifesto or supposed non-strategy" from the Alternative Parties, you belong to the [b]lost group of Singaporeans, and the lot that is responsible for hindering change in Singapore due to your non-commital views.
These lost group are the ones that probably did not cast their votes, or had spoil their votes, or cast a blank vote, or unthinkingly threw in the towel and votes blindly for the incumbent.
Is there any Political Future for Singapore, when this is the standard of Singapore politics from those who claim to be educated and committed to Singapore ?

now I wonder bro, if you're so dismissive of others who do not support your views, are you any different from the "POWER OF ONE" that you have written so much againt ? ...... hmmmm ......
remember you once mentioned that the real world comes in shades of the rainbow ? ... if we are to truly build an inclusive society and political culture that embraces all different sort of views and inclinations, then we should all try to practise what we preach, no ? .... btw, that includes everyone, the opposition supporters, the pappies, and the chaps who harbours "non-commital" views too .....
