I was just wondering, Since govt get paid so much and they say they doing it all for the country then during elections they slam the oppositions because they think they will not allow their officials to be corrupted by money
In the first place, If they are so easily corrupted by money.. What does say about our MPs, PM and MM? And they still say country first

Is the government paying SAF officials to feed fishes in the camp pond and gardening during office hours? Are defence technologies being bought using the public funds during peace times? Is beautifying an army camp necessary using public funds? Why is the commander being paid 5 figure sum and doing nothing when the nsfs are paid pathetically and doing most work which is suppose to be done by regulars. Is the government so rich to pay regulars doing nothing and nsf are so lowly paid to do everything? Why nobody bring up such topic?

Salary of Govt officials are also competing with private sectors.
So I suggest MM, SM PM, all the mini-stars and high ranking officials to peg their salaries in par with people like Mr Lee Ka Shing, Stanley Ho, Bill Gates and many more world richest men.

If the government earn world class pay and compete with people like Bill Gates, then what about the people slogging so hard just to earn a living?

If we transfer 100 civil servants whose pay are $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 pa to the private sector and two years after transfer the private sector bosses are very happy to keep them because they are making more monies, I would agree that our public sector officials are not over-paid.
Here and there despite claim of our scholars being world-class talents, such transfer do not result in private sector making more monies. Some one could always carry out a survey to find out how successful were the former MPs in turning around private sector companies.
So all the talks about the ability and talent of civil servants and ministers are plain bull. The benchmarking against private sector bosses (many of whom compared are paying themselves higher salaries from their own business profits to avoid paying higher taxes) is another bull.
The passing of self-proposed and self-benchmarked world's highest salaries for ministers and retirement annuities are 2/3 of last drawn salaries after two terms is a serious conflict of interest and on this ground is unenforceable in court. -

Well...Minister Mentor is paid 5 figure sum to guide ministers and run the government making other MPs and ministers political puppets. The puppets as well are paid 5 figure sum. But our people is the one who are slogging day and night to make a decent living. Workers fear retrenchment as companies are employing PRCs and Malaysians. PRCs are given PRs like chocolates. What will happen to Singaporeans if PRCs are getting all the jobs. Do we have to beg on the streets to wait for PRCs to throw coins at our iron rice bowls?

Million dollar servant are going oversea now and then to wayang with no real economic purpose and agenda.
They not interested in clearing up the mess in the present ministry.
Just have to attend important boot-licking function to say some meaningless nonsense.
That is what they are paid for.
By the way, dun see any contributions provided by the M & M in the mentorship except sprouting nonsense and making more enemy.
