actually, I believe I see Chaim See Tong every year in the stands .... he's hard to miss, cos he'd be wearing dark pants in a sea of pappies ...Originally posted by LazerLordz:Yes. Our National Day parade does not show real inclusiveness, but rather, affected show of community.
Where are our WP and SDA MPs? Why are they not in the stands as ELECTED Members of Parliament of Singapore?
We need to correct this.PAP is not equal to Singapore. National Day is Singapore's independance day, not a political anniversary of any party. It should be non-partisan and I am very displeased and disgusted by this la.
Hmm, we can't confirm that. I have not seen him, he should not be hard to miss, with all the grey hair..Originally posted by Fatum:actually, I believe I see Chaim See Tong every year in the stands .... he's hard to miss, cos he'd be wearing dark pants in a sea of pappies ...![]()
he's certainly there, can google for the NDP webby ... it's up year round ...Originally posted by LazerLordz:Hmm, we can't confirm that. I have not seen him, he should not be hard to miss, with all the grey hair..
but anyway, the part about getting permits to speak at their own GRCs activities is just too much la.
the taxi thing is OT already and even I won't touch it with a stick anymoreOriginally posted by Fatum:he's certainly there, can google for the NDP webby ... it's up year round ...
for me personally, I think it's best not to policize every single damm thing that we have, flag-waving and chest-thumping is something done by a lot of other parties in other countries too .... it's not a PAP exclusive ...
but if we are to play by the standard that we preach, then i suppose we should hold the cynicism a bit eh ? ... it's getting ridiculous how all sort of weird things get linked to the "evil empire" in here ... I mean "bad service in Taxi = goverment's fault" remember that thread ?.....![]()
I certainly enjoy them every year ... and I have played them out for my ang moh classmates for the past three years ... it's certainly an annual event to be proud of ... to me, it's certainly not political, not like those red square May day festivities eh ... cept for that little march past contigent ... just sit back and enjoy the spectacle eh ....
He is in the stands lah...together iwth Low Thia Khiang. How can they not be in he stands? If that was the case, it would have been a very big issue.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Hmm, we can't confirm that. I have not seen him, he should not be hard to miss, with all the grey hair..
