Their blood pressures are very normal! There won't be a televised debate because it won't be to their advantage. However, the opp. should still challenge them.Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:I think both MM and PM will have high blood pressure and heart attack. An open debate is not possible.
No point since the lees were never haf the ballz to face the opp let alone the young educated 20s in our country in a televised debate. Old Lee may be 'smart' to take it but his young lee may shoot himself in his toes just as he did in the past..Originally posted by PRP:Their blood pressures are very normal! There won't be a televised debate because it won't be to their advantage. However, the opp. should still challenge them.

Why bother to discuss about estate upgrading when there are more important national issues at stake and are intentionally blanked out of national discussion ?Originally posted by PRP:I find there are so many members who are rather negative in attitude. So here is a major issue to criticise the govt. Why don't u speak up?Tired of it?
In Wikipedia, it was stated that the following was taken from the Elections Department website [22]:Originally posted by I.M.ME:a show of hands.. how many ppl vote for pap becos they are afraid things might happen if they don't?
if our votes can be televised as instantly destroyed after the voting.. so many more will definitely vote for the opposition

In insisting to debate on [b]'Estate Upgrading' issues, are we not 'falling into the political scheme' of the Ruling Party that Singaporeans should only involve ourselves with local politics, as we are not qualified to be involved in 'National Issues' ?
By local meaning localised neighborhood politics as in your upgrading issues.
Is this not strategy to distract us from more important issues and 'skeletons in the cabinet' that the Ruling Party do not want us to get involved with ?
Was this not the reason for splitting Singapore into regional communities with mayors to head each of the townships, and with elections to affect changes to Mayors and Town Councillors, but not the National Leadership and Cabinet ?
Singapore with a population that do not even exceed Five Million is divided into townships with about four Mayors; while the entire population of New York City with a population of 8,147,197 has only ONE Mayor - and paid less than our Singapore Prime Minister of Singapore.
