Do you know if a couple is seperated but not divorced. Can the wife go and buy a resale flat for herself?

Cannot. must sell their flat first. then can buy if she is above 35

Must be 35yrs old and upgrade to a bigger flat.

Ya, she is above 35 years old. But by law not divorce but separated only.

She cannot buy flat yet. she has to obtain some kind of documents eg DC before she can buy.
