Agree with you too.
It just feels, like home.
I know that our country has a fast rate of development, and familiar landmarks get knocked down for the sake of the economy. My HDB flat that I grew up in has been knocked down years ago, and now my SECOND HDB flat may also be knocked down.
Still, the food, people, language (I like Singlish, it is US), etc.
If only the government treasures its people more, and gives less priority to cheap forei... I mean foreign talents.
