since they are so "intellgent", so "ingenious", then why dont they think of new ways to earn more foreign curriencies, instead of using brainless policies to keep forcing citizens to pay and make money out from them?
they cannot come up with new ideas and policies to protect the welfare of the people, they often opt for the easy-way-out, brainless, foreign trash lover policies.
they even think foreign trash babies are better than singaporean babies, they cant be bothered/cannot think of new policies to encourage and increase birthrate level.
since they cant be botherd about singaporean, why should singaporeans be patriotic? actually they so call the quitters are actually the smarters. -
Actually those who were called Quitters, are the ones who has the ability to Quit SIngapore, and make it elsewhere with their Talents, and financial resources. This is one major way Singapore is losing local talents; through ever increasing emigration numbers.
And true enough, in the past, one week before National Day I can see a lot of flags outside HDB flat windows - today, I only see a few scattered flags hung by endearingly faithful and loyal citizens - they might even be PRs....
Ideas? I think they hardly ever had any - they're always tapping on other's. I wonder what's the high salaries for....
Their day will come, their days are already numbered as of the recent GE's results. -

Yes, totally agreed with u! They always tell us to accept low pay in order to remain competitive n go for job trainings. Want us to continue put up with the sufferrings while they themselves song song take millions of dollar. Watching ChannelNewsAsia, where hong kong people rejected the governement proposal to have a GST of 5% with a peaceful protest. There was a street person who mentioned that the government has excess money in the treasury and should find better ways to solve problems than to keep taxing the people.
I wish only this kind of frank and honest statement is made in singapore.

He is used as a "bad example" for the opposition to frighten the people into associating all opposition with him, thus giving opposition a bad reputation.
He is kept around and used as a fool against the very thing he is fighting for.
People see Chee, SDP, people also think WP, SDP and everyone in these parties are equally unstable and untrustworthy. Its a game where the current party understand and plays very well.
