Personally, if our population is indeed in need of 'topping up', I'd safely bet that it is the multitude of Malaysian chinese and malays who comes here to work on a daily or work permit basis, who are likely to stay - not the China FTs. Out of their own mouths they have stated they'd prefer USA, and that Singapore is too small, not much recreation or night life - just here to gain experience, knowledge, and money to go on to ELSEWHERE.
But meantime, these China FTS (along with other low-lifes) are here contributing all sorts of vice and crimes. What the heck for? Why does our gov want to put up with this? Afraid to make China lose face?? Common man, be practical...
Then again, if living costs keeps increasing, these "new citizens" may also not be able to stay on for long - basically back to square one.
I just don't know when our gov is going to wake up, & realize China is taking our gov's over-zealious hospitality for granted, and that a lot of us are up to our necks working harder & harder trying to compete with all sorts of skilled and unskilled scums from China, defraying rising costs. And they so myopic they can't even see (or refuse to see) why people aren't having babies.
They should be aware, how UNPOPULAR they are becoming through each GE. -

Maybe our culture needs a face lift.
Maybe we should just stop sucking other people's dick.

well i think the sg gov is not sucking up australia's dick as far as i'm concern.
they can heartlessly hang a young man caught for trafficking in SG instead of his own home land. and even made the family members of the trafficker come all the way to SG to get themselves humiliated by the SG press. Dispite of the ongoings pleas and request from the ozzie ambassy and even the ministers in ozzie, our gov still stood to their ground in hanging that poor man here. heartless bunch of ppl we have eh.
the problem here is i don't see china, malaysian or any other country's ppl in SG get hanged for the serious crimes they commit. Well, we are alrdy hated by the ozzies since that incident. so dun u ever think of migrating there in future -

how i wish in the next GE, some oppositin party can come over my zone to snatch the place. i think many legal youngsters here would gladly vote for them.
eh but i forgot my area here many old folks so they will mindlessly vote for the white guys.. ahh pointless. i dun think theres a way for the oppositions to win in any of the GE in the near future. lets all watch SG die slowly. -
this is only a hub/port to me now, called singaPORT, and the people living here are merely workers for the hub which is owned by the LEEE family and friends. wat they need are more singaPORTians(workers living in singaPORT) to stay around to work for them to operate their facilities, that's why they cant be bothered about singaPORTians as they can be easily replaced by foreign trash.
