They will say:
- Increasing Operating Cost (Directior Salary ???)
- Installing Panel for Bus Arrival Time (Useless for a board to tell u that the bus will be late as usual)
- Fixing TV Mobile that seem to have problems in reception after so many years of implementation
- Paying for possible damages if one of funny props stuck on the top of the bus drops on a vehicle or pedestrain
- Paying for EZ-Link Card Cheat and possible legal cost
- Doing time-study to remove unnecessary bus route or to adjust to a more elastic time table.
- Employing staff to catch Ez-Link Cheat
- Pay for empty cab not rented
- Pay for North-East line breakdown shuttle bus service
So, the increase is NOT FUEL-PRICE DEPENDENT !!!! -

Few years ago oil was at $20s, now at $60s coming off from $70s, that is not significant to reverse the pinch, if indeed high oil price was the main reason (we dont know the main reason). -

In the years of 1980s,we paid S$0.15 bus fare 4 the feeder bus 2 our flat and now I paid S$0.90 for the three bus stops when my car was under repair.W/in 20 yrs, bus fare shoot up 600% but my dear graduates' salary remained the same as me in 1980s.
How our next generation survive,worst still with these influx of so called FTs bring down the average Sporeans ' income!!!!
