Oops. Due to the increased road congestion caused by the sudden massive increase of cyclists, LTA has decided that every bicycle be fitted with an ERP device. -
last time during the election time, i already said that they will increase the bus and train fare liao but someone told me they won't increase.

I think we should disband the PTC as it is not protecting the people needs. Knowing that the transport company are making HUGE profits, they still agree to their request to increase wtf?!?!

Although they hand out $1m in vouchers to help the needy, it is considered a negligible amount considering the profit they will make from the hike.

without the PTC, the transport companies can anyhow increase prices...
with the PTC, the transport companies can increase prices with official sanction..
maybe you're right.. disband the PTC and deny the transport companies the "respectability" of official sanctions -

imagine if a person take 4 short bus trips to and from work every day, plus 2 short bus trips for lunch. that means each day $0.06 more. 1 month 20 working days = 20 x $0.06 = $1.20.
so how to solve the problem? i can suggest u start eating lunch at your office canteen instead of outside from now onwards or if u buy drinks for lunch all the time, choose 1 day and eat lunch without buying drinks. -

Oil prices are retreating but on the contrary bus and MRT fares are increasing! This is what most of the management teams are good at in most listed companies who care more for the shareholders and their own pockets than the general public. They definately have the share prices in mind when they proceed to implement such measures and if really the share price shoot up, they will ask for pay increase for their 'innovative talents' in the coming AGM!Who will bear the brunt at the end of the day? They are the poor heartlanders who are struggling to keep their heads above water!You think they will ask for helps? this is really nothing new,they always complain of lost of profit through increased oil prices,manpower cost,upgrading of facilities.YET WHEN OIL PRICES DROP,THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT?!
if this carries on,people should seriously consider cycling to work.LAST BUT NOT LEAST,TRY TO REFRESH YOUR MEMORY WHEN YOU ARE VOTING NEXT TIME.

i say bring back the "ba wang" buses and taxis. Outside PLC got private bus contracters, from Pasir Laba camp to Boon Lay Mrt only a dollar.
