What's the hurry to arrest him? He's not going anywhere....
Think they are more interested in watching who will join him instead. CSJ is well known...his political career is over once he is declared a bankrupt. The SDP may well be forced to close if it cannot pay damages for the defamation suit. -
Got multiple news that Chee got arrested already....and thus ends the Protest March of Singapore, before it even begins...

This morning I went to speaker's corner and he was there surrounded by police and the media.
Later he said in a loud voice that the police was going to call a taxi to take him to parliament house.
He said, "see you all at parliament house."
I then went off to run some errands.
I went back to parliament house in the afternoon and no one was there.
My friend and I then had lunch at Funan. After lunch we walked towards speakers corner again. On the way there we saw that Chee's sister was surrounded by police women.
My friend took some pictures with his handphone.
We continued to speaker's corner and Chee was still there surrounded by police.
My friend asked me what next.
A reporter said that that's it. Surrounded by police and prevented from walking.
My friend asked loudly what if he was hungry and wanted to eat mee siam?
The reporter said, "yah mee siam mai hump! As long as he ordered mee siam mai hump it is OK. If he ordered bak chor mee than no way."
I think that they are all still there. -

OK Latest update. I went for dinner and they are still there. Now there are more people there. Some of them are sitting down in groups. One group was singing! Looked like students.
Now his sister had gone from South Bridge Road back to speaker's corner to join her brother.
hahaha just because the ang mo reporters are there they dare not touch him, Just stand around him and his sister to stop them from walking. -

CSJ is not a problem....they can arrest him any time.
