be careful,many people out there are more interested in our $$,
which is highly cash convertibale(90 % almost instanly),
than land ,people and other assests .
The reserve is also a major weapon if Sg dollars attacked. -
our govt can save 1 billion per month.

but seriously.. our forex reserves appears to be growing at very high pace...
if this keeps up... those angmos are gonna twist our arms to balance our BOP, probably by insisting we buy more high tech weapon from them.

in the last two years... our forex has risen so much.. we can easily swallow afew dozen F-22 raptors...
