But there's alway a way around it.. If WW3 does happen, it will not benefit everyone at all and that's including me and you. Just reflect on the post war destructions & the damages... Take Iraq, Afghan for example.. Lots of innocent lives (children, women) were 'wasted' just like that as if there were no values. for them. There are some people who like to dishonour religious beliefs in the name of free speech, and it has been going on for a long time, with the main victim of their main religion in Europe and North America, Christianity. It's all in the name of enlightenment, free speech, rebellion from authority, etc fancy names. The only religion untouchable for these people is Judaism, because they believe anything like that is Anti-Semitic. A pity nobody told them the similar taboo phrases like Anti-Islamic, Anti-Catholic, and so on.

Some Europeans are into Holocaust denial. That would be inconsistent with the idea of free speech.
At the bottomline, we need to ask whether or not we believe in free speech within limits of the law. If an utterance was made that broke no laws of the land but it annoys some people, should the utterance not have been made?
I would think that the space for free speech should always be maximised rather than curtailed. After all, there are so many different people with so many different beliefs. Any statement made is bound to displease this or that person. Should we all therefore just shut up and say nothing?
If somebody says something that is offensive to you, you need to think about how to react. If what was said was false, refute it, or ignore it. If what was said was debatable, set out your case to say why you think your views are right. If what was said was true, learn from it.
In the marketplace of ideas, why should religion be exempt from debate and criticism?
