  Su Tseng-chang,Premier, Republic of China (Taiwan) said it is ok for Finance Minister to give up his American citizenship within one year.

  SG is no much better...... we already out-source our defense to our PRC scholar talent. Our Health minister is also a Penang foreign Talent while quite a number of the PAP mps are in fact foreign talents.

  He's highly qualified based on his background. I don't see why not as long as he proves to be sufficiently dedicated to Taiwan. It's not like he has no Taiwanese ties, I bet he himself sees Taiwan as his home.
