PAP hip hop?

  i browse thru the nation-building paper today. there is an article about the new gen PAP MPs who will do a hip hop item for an event or something.
  
  how do you reach out for the youths and the young in SG? i think thru' sincerity and and openness to engage.
  
  becoming or trying to become something u r not is a pathetic attempt and a turn off. i am not sure if they are ill advised or they sincerely think that doing a hip hop dance shows that they can relate to the youths?
  
  i think the PAP tries too hard. it excruciating. i won't be watching, even for the laughs.....

  It's not the MPs' fault really. If they don't do it, just imagine what their appraisals would be like.
  
  And why hip-hop? It only appeals to the young. (those whose are still in sch)....oh ok, when these people grow up, they will become part of the electorate.

  It just seems they are getting desperate, not to mention pathetic if they believe they can garner more votes and support by acting like idiots on stage
  
  Start listening to the people and implement changes that actually benefit Singaporeans. Not their coffers. Thats what they should be doing.
