After World War 2, along with the rapid advancing of technologies, booming in tradings, developing and re-construction of cities....and etc..thus Singapore was ultimately benefited from all the shipping transistional at our GOD gifted location......Anyone at that time with proper training, education and guidance from some experts would know how to administrate and manage the port, and finally...., through years of accumulated experiences and fine tuning which made our port today. OF COURSE, WE WERE LUCKY TO HAVE ONE OF THE ONLY FEWS HUMBLE MINISTER TO HANDLE THE PORT WITHOUT ASKING TOO MUCH REWARDS.
Our existing ruling party is not GOD or Satan that had magic to turn singapore of what it is today.
Without the God gifted location and natural deep port......DO YOU THINK SINGAPORE COULD BE WHAT IT IS TODAY?
I'm quite sick with the ruling party where majority are blinded with $$$$$ to the extend of comparing with top six earners............and recently, PM mentioned AGAIN to us that their salaries are still lagging behind the top six......
Now...., they all drawing multi-millions dollars salaries, bonuses, loads of perks and dividends......and etc.
Sometimes, I asked myself...........

With a decent net salaries of S$600,000 to S$1,200,000 annually.........and life long pensions....NOT ENOUGH for living in luxuries? So how much is enough?

I have no objection to the second, but who's paying? Increase taxes for women and those who are exempted from NS to meet the shortfall.
