well, it has always been the tradition tat students from kindergarten rite up to junior college r required to wear school uniforms...yrs ago i remember tis topic was raised but apparently it has since died off. shld teachers in school lead by example by wearing uniforms as well? after all, they r suppose to be the educators n role model for students...so wad r ur comments? shld uniform be mandatory for teachers?
mini skirt for female teachers?
Wear or not wear will not be any difference. (Ok, except for those who are fashion consious type)
You got to understand, their purpose is go there to teach, you listen or not, you study or not, you got pass exam or nott, boils down u can get ur cert and get out of there. But ur teachers leh?
They still get paid, wear or not wear uniform.
So wats the diff?
well juz to add on...actually sometimes the reason y students dress sloppily in their uniforms has to do wif the teachers too...some teachers come to sch in sloppy attire...i have seen female teachers coming to sch in slippers n male teachers in sandals...while uniform is supposed to make students look smart...teachers come in attires tat tend to be a little too casual...by implementing uniform for teachers, it may help the uniform discipline in sch...unless of cuz the teachers themselves r sloppy in uniform...
wai yang !!!
uniform or no uniform, the more important issue is what are my kids taught in school, other then material in the curriculum
moral, character and attitude
It doesn't matter, really.
Quoth a famous chinese politician whose name I forgot: "White cat, black cat, so long as it catches rates, it is a good cat."
Similarly, as long as the teachers do a good job teaching, it doesn't really matter whether they wear school uniforms or not.
Just ensure that what they wear is appropriate, i.e. not too expensive, not to flashy or revealing.
