Reading of the Newspaper regularly

Boring stuff. International news is generally accurate, but home news and headlines related to local scenes are usually heavily censored.
I'm a staunch follower of the following mags though:

2. National Geoegraphic Traveller
3. Scientific American
4. Times
5. World Soccer
6. MAD Magazine -

They can read both ST and other international newspaper to compare with it.
Some of them are also interested in the current affairs and politics but cannot express it out fully due to the lack of opportunities.
Are the schools just focusing on their academic results so that they can be more famous and get more funds from the ministry? For me, it will be better if they focus it evenly.

I read the local newspapers for local news. I know they're heavily censored and are far from objective, but otherwise I don't see much of a choice. I still need to know what goes on around me.
That said, I read Newsweek and Time. Even so, I sometimes find the articles lacking in content and the editorial slant a bit too pro-Yankee for my liking.
I do read The Economist, too, for it's more objective and the articles have a lot more depth, but it can make for pretty dry reading sometimes. -
