How about lets compile a list of Singapore in World Rankings?
- Highest Suicidal Cases - Not sure about the rank, definately one of the highest in Asia. I guess only Japan wins us. Ask any of your Police friends, i bet they have many stories to tell
- Most Stressful - Contender to be the most stressful society in Asia, if not the World!
- Myopic eyesight - Undisputed number 1 in the world! stop ill treating our eyes!
- Unhappiest Nation - Ranked 131 out of 178 countries. Survey done by a British-based report.
- Press Freedom - Ranked 140 out of 167 countries. Reported by Reporters without borders
- Courtesy - Ranked 130 out of 178 countries. Surveyed by Happy Planet index
- Sex Performance - we have poor sex, even oral sex is illegal here.
- Executions - Highest execution rate on per capital in the World
- Sexual Activities - Singaporeans having the least sex per week in the world, even our neighbours malaysia and workaholic Japan has more sex frequency then us.
- Automobile - More cars and car expenses are the most expensive in the world.
- Ciggies - So are our ciggies
- Childless Society - was it 1.5 child per couple. We need 2.1 to replace ourself.
- Emigration - 26 migrants per 1000 citizens, 2nd highest in the world.
- Highest paid ministers - I don't know the rankings, but it one of this highest paid ministries too right?
- Strongest "democratic" Mandate - only 2 opposition seats in a parliament of whites. Strongest in the world.
- Soccer aka Passion - Ranked 115 in 178 countries? or was it 98?

the tammy issue really shows that Singaporeans are sexually pathetic, if u go to other countries, such sexual incidents would be a norm. no hype cause no one cares. Nice collation of statistics. It kinda reflects the characteristics of our nation, but I certainly do have my doubts that we are a nation with the worst sex. Maybe there's a co-relation, bad democracy co-relates to bad sex?

passion for football dun reali mean must sarpot local ma... it might be hard for them to sarpot local league when they r reali kelong... as for play, its the mentality for parents to forbid their kids to live their dream as soccer player for life but all this is another issue... inside them they still hv the passion for football... -

Totally disagree that singaporeans are pathetic, we are first in some and well not so good in some. But SG in general (living standards, social security, public health, etc, etc) is so much better then so many other nations

I think singapore is also becoming a nation of sick people, its well known that we are not the healthiest given our stress levels.
Its also the myopic nation of the world
Maybe we also qualify as the nation with the most taxi drivers
Not sure if we also qualify as the nation with the most "foreign talent" in proption with singaporeans.
Perhaps we also fall into the category of people with the most men having affairs in our neighbouring countries, with foreign prostitudes and marry foreign wh0res and yet is proud to declare that its their "character" and not their wealth these "poorer" people are after. -

But as for "Foreign Talent", Dubai has 3/4 of its population that belongs to other countries. I been to Dubai there myself too -

RECENTLY, my friend from Australia commented that Singaporeans behaved like pigs. I disagreed, saying that at most it's a small minority who behaved that way.
He challenged me to a test. I accepted his challenge, determined to prove him wrong. I was bitterly disappointed.
Here is an account of what happened.
My friend, my wife, our one-year-old son in a pram and I (wearing a neck brace and with my arm in a sling from injuries sustained in a car accident) went for an MRT ride. My wife and son couldn't get into the station for some time because other commuters kept using the gate meant for the disabled, ignoring her and the pram.
When the train arrived, people rushed in while alighting passengers rushed out. No one gave way to my wife and the pram. She had to compete with the horde to get onto the train. To make things worse, those standing at the doorway refused to move in, making it even more difficult for her.
Once on board, no one bothered to give up his seat to my wife, who was carrying our son. Those seated were young, able-bodied and educated (executive-type) adults. Finally, it was two Thai workers who gave up their seats to us.
Later, an old woman boarded the train. Again, no one gave up his seat until a man in a neck brace and an arm sling did so.
When we reached our destination, we tried to take the lift from the platform to the ticket concourse. The lift was packed with able-bodied people. My friend asked that my wife and the pram be allowed in but one man turned around and remarked rudely, 'Why can't you take the next lift?'. I was shocked beyond words.
We went to a packed food court for lunch. No tables were available. We waited and finally noticed a couple leaving. We inched our way towards their table but, with just 5m to go, a group of office girls ran ahead of us and took the table.
When we finally got a table, it was unbelievably messy. There were chicken bones, spilt sauces and prawn shells all over the table.
I turned red in the face when my friend, who was helping to clear the table, asked, 'So, do you still think that it's only a minority of Singaporeans that behave this way? If so, take a look around you. Look real hard at the tables when they leave... You guys eat like pigs.'
