University internet access is costly as it is, having a direct leased circuit w/o going through Singnet makes it more costly but it's there for your academic purposes.. . Sure, get your own Singnet account and then we'll talk. -

Let's not forget the time taken to travel is approximately 1.5hr to 2hrs per trip.
Living in hall may be slightly more expensive but if paying $30 to $40 more a mth saves me from travelling 4hrs a day, I think it's a pretty gd bargain. -
