Personally, I can tolerate imperfections in other countries so long as they are open about it. Don't I get this feeling that things here are a little too perfect for my liking....Just peel away the veneer of the social fabric and see what we get...Don't we all already know it...let them rule the incoming migrants from INdia and PRC. Let's see how future Wee SHu Mins cope with them as from business dealing, they will not be such a gullible bunch...In fact they will bite back cause they have seen the hardships of life in CHINA AND INDIA...let's wait and see after we all have migrated to other lands.
Bottomline is parental upbringing has failed and yet he still wants to justify and pass the buck...now that is worse than the daughter's crime itself

this incident highlights why we need a viable alternative....the pap past and present has been drawing their 'talent' pool from the same circle, even the animal kingdom avoids inbreeding....this girl, like her father falls nicely into that world....how can we believe the future pap will care enough? their very attitude is why they cannot believe desperate folks will jump tracks..........this brat of a girl inferred she got where she is through hard work...that's funny when she probably hadn't lifted a finger to do anything remotely labourious....

Nice to let go of some steam once a while man...partly because people like me worked hard and did well through business...much tougher doing business you know....and to think we have some young upstart with a powerful father...

Let's face it, the thinly-disguised monarchy in Singapore will never see any value in understanding the ground-level view of things - after all, why waste time worrying about such things when you can be living it up instead?
So much for ministers' high salaries preventing corruption - the only thing it's done is develop a new breed of crooks who think they're royalty and that Joe Public's only there to fatten their wallets. If Joe's got to break his back on one job only to be retrenched when younger backs come along, why should the royals (or their brats) give a flying f*ck?
Would they honestly care what the average person thinks of what they say? Why should they when, unlike your average Singaporean, their rice bowl has been cast in iron by the PAP? -
I can just imagine her being the head of some ministry later in the future barking orders to her subordinates.
