I wonder what rosy picture will our 146th paint tomolo?

I just hope that not another person do that due to poverty.
I think I can add a new entry to the Chinese dictionary liao. Since we have tiao4 lou2 (jumping down the floor), we should add a new entry, Uniquely Singapore, call tiao4 di4 tie4 (jumping down the MRT tracks). -

How come the MRT train driver does not applied emergency break when the driver saw the victim jumping on the track??

If I'm mrt driver, i'll be freaked out. I will ask myself every morning, "today will i kill somebody like what my colleague did?"

Obviously, social welfare is a dirty word in S'pore or rather, it's simply not strong enough. The govt has never really done as much as it should have. -

The MRT train is with a lot of passengers. Just like any moving vehicle, there is always the stopping distance. The higher the speed of the train, the longer is the stopping distance. -
SMRT more concerned with the wear and tear on the tracks and wheels caused by emergency braking.

Ok, the afternoon Chinese news totally missed this incident.
I like the local media's attitude towards this "accident", they acted as if nothing of this sort had happened before. That's incredible. I think only media from China and N.Korea can match up with this attitude. -
