Metrosexual, gay or sophisticate ?

I think this terminology is popping up quite alot in the urban youths these days and getting widespread.
What your view on people being labeled or called themselves "metrosexual". Gay or sophisticated

i cant really stand metrosexual guys...i tend to classify them as amateur gays

mayb metrosexual are in touch with their feminie side which makes them sophisticated.
If thats the case,why are metro being labelled as gay in most instance?
so if metro are commonly being misthought as gay,then gays should be seen as metrosexual right?
but i don't really see the latter in action.

metrosexual or SNAG (Sensitive new age guy)?
SNAG are those that will carry their girlfriend's or wife's handbag. In Singapore context, they are unusually weak, henpeck and is just a thin line away from being gay.
Metrosexual are those who men who go for facial treatments, spa (the clean type) etc. They wear fancy clothes, are particular about how they carry themselves and is sensitive to a woman's need. -

I define gays and those with a homosexual preference. So no, I don't think SNAG or metrosexuals are gays. But SNAG does put me off a fair bit. I think metrosexuals, no matter the label, are still a unique by-product of modernization and we, as a modern society, regard them as a integral part of society already.
However, it still doesn't change the traditional mindsets that some people may take against them. -

Only the uninformed would associate them with each other. The thin line theory plainly sucks because the distinction between the two is clear if one knows the definitions for each category. -
