hey he may not have the solution but he can always point out whats wrong.Originally posted by mahawarrior:but the methods he uses are lame...
aggressively criticizing EVERYTHING (even the good things) the current government does without giving suggestions on what constructive stuff he'll REALLY do does not work in a civilised society...

we'll see in 4 yrs time if your statement is trueOriginally posted by oxford mushroom:CSJ is an asset to the ruling party. As long as he is around to perform his antics, he will drive voters away from the Opposition.
As far as 'mushrooms' are concerned, you are considered a joke by quite a few of us here.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:Not a joker.....a joke
With your antics in supporting the ruling party in this Speakers' Corner, who needs CSJ to drive us away from the Opposition ?Originally posted by oxford mushroom:CSJ is an asset to the ruling party. As long as he is around to perform his antics, he will drive voters away from the Opposition.
If you ONLY depend on the newspaper reporting about CSJ, you should realise that nothing good will ever be printed about CSJ.Originally posted by mahawarrior:Read the newspaper everyday recently, will see that 'Dr' Chee with is nonsensical argument in the court. Can't believe such a childish person exist. Maybe he would like to try do some real constructive stuff as a real opposition in singapore instead of trying so hard to gain attention from the media...

i won't take the stand that any criticism must come with suggestions because pointing out the problem itself is a step towards getting a solution
+ hey we pay the mps etc lots of money, why should we be expected to do all the work for them? let them justify their high pay by finding good solutions and implementing them, thats their job anyway; no need to go really out of the way to help them when you don't have the means
The book still available? If not got ISBN number to check online?Originally posted by Atobe:"he may not have the solution but he can always point out whats wrong"
Unfortunately, you are wrong with this statement.
You should read some of the books that he have written, and will find many of his original solutions in his book - "Your Future, My Faith, Our Freedom" - written in 1993.
Already in 1993, many of the problems were identified by CSJ, and it was only in Year 2003 and 2004 that policies were changed that are somewhat similar to the solutions in CSJ book written TEN YEARS EARLIER.
So much for some PhD 'mushrooms' who can produce nothing original, except to tow official lines and become nothing better than 'carpet beggars'.
hello i was saying that even if he has no solution he can still raise any solution to problems he sees in response to someone saying he doesn't provide solutions........Originally posted by Atobe:"he may not have the solution but he can always point out whats wrong"

It is doubtful if you will find any shop selling this early edition that probably ran out of print.Originally posted by wisefool83:The book still available? If not got ISBN number to check online?
