Hmmm.. just a random thought. Cos that day I was going through my drawer of warranty cards for my computer hardware.. and all the warranties are not valid unless I produce the card itself plus the purchase receipt.
I was wondering if it would be better if such responsibilities should lie with the companies instead. I mean... in your entire life you do not only buy computers right? You buy other stuff like Cameras, MP3 players, Mobile Phones.. and all require the same procedure for product warranty. It really is quite a chore to have to ensure you keep the receipts of these purchases. So is there a way that we can put the responsibilities for tracking the eligibility of product warranty with the companies themselves instead?
