How do I invite them to my birthday celebration instead?
This kind of sentiments is the fundamental cause of worldwide religious conflicts and unrests. Compassion, kindness, harmony and peace are what most religions are teaching. If a joint religious celebration can bring about that peace and harmony, why disrupt it with such pedantic and myopic observation of the religions' rituals?Originally posted by pwnz0r:It shows no understanding about the different religious occasions. This blatantly suggest a lack of respect for other religions. In Malaysia, a similar idea was thrown around on integration celebrations. This is largely frowned upon, notwithstanding the perspective of a Muslim country.

Its not a majority opinion up north anyway where many Muslim leaders had since voiced their disagreements, not to mention the Prime Minister himself, like the post above mentioned.
