Using sophisticated words make your composition bumpy and reading it is such a pain. It's tiring when you do not go straight to the point.
Maybe I'm stupid because I had to used an online dictionary a few times to understand some of the words you're using; but then again, I believe most of us here are not elites. -

According to the logic of MP Mah Broke Tan, residents of Potong Pasir & Hougang are not entitled to upgrading as they did not vote for the PAP. (i.e. Don't vote PAP, no "goodies" for you).
Thus, in accordance with the above logic, shouldn't I and the rest of the patriotic 33.3% be exempted from the GST hike since we did not vote for the PAP???
Rob the poor to pay the destitute, what an ingenious suggestion. If our top brass elite uncaring Ministers are paid million dollar salaries to come up with such brillant policies and ideas....then why not fire all of them and hire us 33.3% to replace them. Much better value for money with FAR BIGGER brains. -

Their vocab is superb lah. This one I would say they beat Singaporeans hands down. Confirm + guarantee + chop. bo bei zao
But they seems to be lacking a bit in the grammar department. That is what I observed from a few months of online chatting in English with them. -

No point complaining, b4 election ppl say why spoil the comfort life after collect $$ from gahmen. Now make noise after cost increase, b4 next election coming u will still collect $$ from them again then say they r very nice. I see ppl have no idea at all, complain is useless as we know. There is no way this system can change unless ppl vote for it. As long as they have 2/3 of the seats, u still have a comfortable life.

Already mentioned before that whatever package they give you, sooner or later sure MUST return them back one. They wayang until can win Oscar and gong gong people think PAP very nice people. the Singaporeans should just go there, get a PR..
stay in SG making X a yr getting tax 5-10%
then retire go Welfare place to enjoy your share, if that is possible it will be the best! maybe few do it now.. still have loopholes.. start researching soon!
wouldn't it be great and solve all the complains on GST keep going up.
or if U are bringing up your kids.. send them there to study higher Education since is free.. killing 2 birds with a stone.. -
If GST is increasing to help out the poor....
these are what i DON'T WANT see the poor doing after the GST increases....
1) Smoking
2) Have TV bigger than 14-inch
3) rear pets, especially parrots, dogs, cats.
4) have air-con
5) takes taxi
6) owns hi-fi set
7) eats outside food
8 ) drives a CAR (regardless ownership)
9) travels overseas (or have a passport for that matter)
10) buy a 90cc motorbike BUT owns a Arai (or equivalent) helmet
11) uses broadband
12) buy 4D
13) stays home all day
14) visit geylang
and the list goes on and on... -

i think gahmen should only increase GST only for luxurious items and not daily necessities like rice, oil, water and electricity etc. cos many singaporeans are in the neither here or there category, they are not poor until cannot support themselves or rich enough to keep ends meets. they won't be able to sign up for all those schemes gahmen is coming up to help them.
