Who said the economy is doing well? Most believe that only the government is doing very very well because they have collected more taxes from petrol, ERP, COE,car import duties,GST..........whereas most Singaporeans were milked dry by paying higher PUB, higher petrol prices, higher transport cost and most of their pay packets remain stagnant because the government encouraged most companies in Singapore to go flexi-wages and who actually benefit?????Those top guns in GLCs and most listed companies are paying themselves big fat bonus plus pay increases and those at the lower end were have to make do with stagnant pay with CPF cut and threatened with pay cut because they have encouraged foreigners to come in at a much cheaper rate!They even tell you that there is no such thing as iron rice bowl for Singaporeans, go and upgrade yourself or work until you drop dead! Some could'nt even find a decent job to feed themselves and were forced to jump into MRT track to end their lives!
Why in such a small red dot they need so many MPs and unnecessarily incur extra cost for the nation?Why more listed companies are earning more because they stinged and save on wages! They should conduct a survey to find out the facts on how the general public fare before they decided to increase GST.
Why dont they come down to the heartland to talk to the heartlanders to find out how they are getting on? Are the ministers eyeing for more pay increase soon to enhance their millions? -
