Pai seh. Got too carried away la. No lor, I just hoping people will start questioning what they percieve to be the truth, instead of accpeting everything for what it is and just see blindly..do blindly..like sheep lead to the slaughter like that. Anyhow, the 30 per cent voted for what they believe in, the 66.6 per cent voted for what they believe to be the best for themselves, so like that lor, no matter how much will kpkb here, nothing is going to change unless we start being serious and formulate alternatives which are not just say say only, but alternatives which can really be implemented for the greater good of Singaporeans. Like for example GST, we complain abt GST raise to 7 per cent, most of us oppose it because it is bad for our pockets, and not because it will not help what the gahmen claims to help, the less fortunate in our society. In the first place, we want to help our less fortunate Singaporeans, but at the same time also dun wan increase our tax incidence to pay for this, so like that use what to pay? Increase income tax? or use reserves? - which really makes no economic sense lor. So, this go back to the topic of coming up with real alternatives. Oppose, oppose must also oppose with substance ma. Sometimes also cannot say gahmen wrong, sometimes when they do something right also got to applaude. Oppose with reason, not with emotion.

If PAP won PP,the govt would allocate fund to the town council for estate upgrading.Now the opp. won,the govt should still release the fund to PP town council to do estate upgrading.So Chaim is right to ask the fund from the govt.
Since the govt is unfair,can the opp. MPs say they don't want to take charge of the town council work and let the govt do it?
