Even with 66.6% vote can government do no wrong?

Even if 66.6% of the people voted for PAP can they really claim success if people have been so unhappy over the NKFs and the persistent fee increases despite their having built up so much surpluses over the past 41 years.
Something is wrong somewhere. Wrong is wrong. Too much cover-ups of all the NKFs could not make NKFs go away.
It may lead to a tsunami even if everything appears calm on the surface. -

This tsunami doesn't need a earthquake, it just need some shaking from the sea, and you have your tsunami.
The shake needs to start with the intellects starting to express their discontent and who knows, the tsunami might really happen. -
just like a volcano, if it does not erupt, it will jus lie low. as time pass, pressure inside builts up n the longer it stay dormant, the bigger the eruption will be when it erupts.

Did they brought up the GST increase to 7% in GE and let the ppl vote? Blah.....the 66.6% was not even related this turn of event. maybe they shld call a referendum to see if the get 66%
