i am a former students from fuhua secondary school.recently wanted to go back to the school and visits the teachers.but then.was held back at the security post.saying that i am not allowed to enter.last year,i tried to go back to the cca camp as an ex-student.it was not allowed as they said that i have a police case on.but sad to say.this year,it happened the same again.was not allowed to enter the school again.and my police case is over.
is fuhua secondary really discriminating people with police case?moreover,the case is over.other ex-students are able to enter the school with the visitors pass.but i am not allowed to.i felt sad.
can anyone of you tell me where can i 'seek justice' ? -
I'm sorry but it is the case in Singapore. Not only entering school but pertains to other small matters. It is important to keep your record spotless or else it is very easy to be discriminated against.

Since you are no longer a student there, you have not rights to be there, so stop complain.

how did they find out about your police case ? ....
it's unlikely that some some jaga does a "rain check" on visitors at the gates right ? ...
or are you (in?)famous ? ...

But if they want you to report to the admin office to register or what, just go lor. When I go back to my secondary school, I also must go there to register one mah. Do what the Romans do in Rome. -

Hmm, i thought as long as u just 'sign i' with the guard everything will be ok. If u never sign in, then try to enter, then is ur fault liao. Can u imagine if some terrorist try and walk in, then say he ex-student and allowed to go in just like tt, what will happen ?? U did not really elaborate ur encounter with the security guard. If the guard decides to bar from visiting, u may wich to complain to the school -
hmm.its not as if the teachers are very free,and i tried to go back to see my teachers and my juniors and my coach once in a blue moon.but was disallowed.
the problem is i did go to the admin office to register.but they still disallow me to enter luh..
the most unfair thing is that the other ex-students are allowed to enter the school.
saying about contributions made to the school.i oso made contributions to the school by helpin them to win awards.
the teachers are fine with me entering the school.just that there is a single teacher that is making problem for me,he is the hod of cca,mr teo.alot of teachers are like so scared to go against him because he is sort of 'crazy'... -

anyway he hod of CCA nia, lowest class liao. and he doesnt have the authority to prevent u from visiting your old sch.
also ppl say sch does not belong to you, well it doesnt belong to Mr Teo either. if everyone is okay with seeing you except for him, well its not that you got the problem, he is the one with the problem
i suggest directly writing to MOE or to your fuhua principal.
even criminal case students shld be given a chance to visit their teachers. we are students afterall
btw when i in sec sch, my p sch principal also dam SL dun allow us go back in during teachers day, have to wait for students to dismiss. well i guess the teachers dismiss at the same time and left a few in the office nia... waste my time... -
i am just suspecting that mr teo is telling the principal some stuff or to the teachers.its pretty obvious because when i see 1 of the teacher,the teacher started to tell me to like becareful of mr teo cause he is like telling the principal stuff and stuff.the teachers are like so afraid to see us because they area fraid of mr teo giving them problem.mr teo seems to be able to 'influence' the principal...how do i email the moe.can anyone of you all give me the website?please and thanks.

hais.. i reali pity ur state.. i strongly advised u to write to de MOE or straits time.. asking dem for a answer to ur injustic.. it seemed tt ur pathetic, its definitely NO WRONG for ex-students to visit their old sch and old teachers.. "discriminated" main purpose is to show his gratitute to the teachers who had nurtured him since he was sec 1.. and when he grows up and mature.. its naturally alright for him to think tt he wants tu pay the teachers a visit as a repay or some sort.. now i realise FUHUA secondary school has such a poor sch system.. the security guard could nt b blamed as he is onli receiving orders frm de top.. de onli who can b blamed is the PE HOD u mentioned earlier on.. the main reason i wanna go back to visit the teachers are to tell them how i am doing now and find out how they are doing.
if the school is afraid of me creating trouble in the school.what are the use of the survillence camera located in each and every corner of the school?
i so sad for ex-students to unable to visit their secondary school. -
You can try calling the MOE first, tel no. 6872222. Then you write a letter to three receptant (sp). One to the principal, one to MOE and one to the newspaper (put one on your blog, just in case). You must use the yellow ribbon thing as a reason to back your reasoning. -

And, Mr Teo is capable of 'influencing the principal" ?? OMG, no wonder parents are complaining about the school.
Tell the guard that, Eggman is not the Principal, he is not in any right to bar u from entering the place. There is still the VP and P to help u in this mess. SHould they also take an irrational solution, i think there is something call MOE ... -
