I believe it is good to hear how much freedom of speech in Singapore has. I seriously wonder why the government need to suppress opposition parties to this level, is it because they are hiding alot of dirty skeletons in the closets in the PAP, or is it because the opposition parties are speaking the truth and someone is scared that they would be exposed? Sometimes, I feel that Singapore is not a democratic society, it feels almost like tyranny and dictatorship. The more they suppress, the more people will fight back, it's only a matter of time when the people will start to win the battle.

This video looks like a SDP propaganda that martyrise (got this word or not? I dun bother to check dictionary) CSJ.
Dun get me wrong, if LKY or LHL also shot a similar film, I would also deem it as a propaganda film.
Anyway, these films reminds me of the films that were filmed by the Nazis during and after their election campaign. -

Well, of course everyone would want to look like a hero, or look good in everyone's eyes. The SDP does it, the ruling party does it. The only difference is how widespread the "propaganda" is, i.e, how many does it reach.
Singapore is opening up, maybe not much, but a little at a time. Otherwise, 70% of us here on these forums will already be in Changi. -
The reason why sgForums can continue untouched is that " its final place of residence " is in the USA, which is a country that guarantees free speech.
For strategic political reasons, as much as the US Government will tolerate and turn their heads to overlook the transgressions of the Singapore Govenrment within Singapore, the US Government will not risk losing their own credibility on home turf to any efforts of a "tin-pot Singapore dictatorship" to block sgForums.
The only best way out is for Temasek or GIC to buyout the rights from the Owners of this sgForum site - and shut it down or trace all the forum participants; and risk a Class Action to be instituted in the USA. -
