How abt the middle class?? U understand that in order to qualify as a low income group and get help is not Easy... Increasing the GST affects the middle class the most which most singaporeans belong to... I suggest that they promote ourselves to other countries harder and start making fruitful investments other than Shin Corp Investments... They could keep acquiring companies overseas and maybe build up our brand name there thereby increasing profit margins rather than increase price here~ This is wat I call fighting spirits and entrepreneurship~! -

The POOR has progressed to be the NEW POOR. There's no one in this world would ask someone else to come and make money from me or us. No one in this world will build or make a golden chair for you to sit....unless the guy is your father or mother. You think tomasick will have fruitful overseas investment in time to come...good shows have yet to be put up.

I seriously don't understand minister's pay.
Everytime the reason that was given is that their pay is kept high to prevent corruption.
I don't see Shinzo Abe, Junichiro, George Bush, Clinton, Tony Blair being corrupt when their pay is much lower than our ministers.
While they may have some "behind the scenes" earnings derived from their position. I do not believe that our ministers don't have such earnings either.
Legalised corruption is the worst form of corruption. -
