Like I have said earlier................The smrt will not put barriers until more suicides are happened.
Sad to say...these suicides people are of no value to the eyes of govt...In the govt mind ... the more of these sort of people are gone the merrier.
However and inevitably, SMRT have to consider the disruption of time and inconveniences to commuters like;...more importantly, the expat and foreigner talents must be well taken care...eventually it will put up the anti-suicides barriers.
But, if one arsehole from the elites or the high raking officials' son, daughter or next-of-kin were to accidentally fall into the MRT track.............you know what will happen? -

That's why they do not unsderstand the ground and came out with a stupid and disgusting with non-human proposal of hike of GST from 5% to 7%; and that they claimed to help the poors?????????????

Nowadays People jump MRT liao can resume service in less than 1hour. I think they got a team ready when people jump MRT.

Once these people know that there's no guaranteed donations from the public by jumping into the tracks, they will stop sooner or later. -

I think this could be a spate of copycat suicides... it tends to happen when one suicide is prominenty featured that others might follow suit. Maybe there is some good thing that this does not recieve as much media attention after all...
