future developments,like Busininess and Finance Center.
Now we have Marina South of some 330 ha , big enough to double
office space in CBD of spore.

Although the office and working space were double as compared to 20 years ago. BUT THE ROADS AND THE HIGH WAYS WERE BADLY PLANED WITH NO CONTIGENCY OF EMERGENCY CASE........WHAT IF THERE IS DISASTROUS EVENT FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATION OF HUMAN CROWD DUE TO TRAFFIC JAM?
I REMEMBERED, 1993 IN ONE OF NATIONAL DAY OR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION EVENT......I WAS DRIVING AND CAUGHT IN TRAFFIC JAM FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS FROM ECP TO BENJIMIN SHEARS BRIDGE. EVENTUALLY, I GAVE UP AND MADE A TURN TO BEACH ROAD AND WENT HOME. -

The taxes you pay don't go to the reclamation of land stupid; it goes to their godly salaries.
Whatever funds (bank loan, cpf, govt bonds) they use to reclaim the land from the sea, after the land has been reclaimed, they will by system of tendering, loan the land out at afew hundred millions for 99 years, the land returns back to gov after 99 years, which they can lease out again.
The site (3,576.9 sq.m) at Bencoolen was leased out for 99 years recently at a price of $73,000,000; the price of reclamation of 1 hectare is "say" USD100,000,000 they still made a hefty profit from the sale.
