While citizens were only getting a measly 4% a year, GIC used the capital to fund many ot these GLC and grew at 18%. Its only the recent years the use of CPF funds were liberelised.
There enough bad arguments produced by the government. First we have "the government needed to raise tax to help the poor", when the government is only to use a small portion of the increase to help them.
Now we have this silly the rich are the ones that help to fund and build Singapore and the rest shouldnt complain about GST argument. I really hope they push arguments like these to the public, and see whats what kind of flake they get from the public.
Very simple......most of the profits were channel into their salaries, perks, entertainments, bonuses, dividends, director fees, shares dividends, chairmen, CEO's, advisers' pay and etc........so what do you expect from the left over? When they claimed that they are so ''indispensable'' and ''good'' people. fart it!!!
So you see....the above had already got so many people taking $$$ from the organisation....what else is left over for the Nation?
Ren pu wei ji , Tien zhu ti biak ....for the nation?
