It's not about seeing who is wearing what. It's about values, coming from a gov who are constantly putting material gains above all else, in such a society, what kind of impression does it give the young. Don't hate the people, hate the policy. My friend wrote in recently to the board of CPF, he needed money to further his studies and asked to use his father's CPF. His father will be collecting his CPF next year. The board rejected him outright, even after he volunteered to return the CPF monthly at an interest rates.
Is our government really so inflexible? Own money but can't help pay for son's education. I find it sad.

Average ppl very tight in the wallet to have spare cash to pay for further education.

. I am still in the healthcare industry doing administration and research. Oh yeah I migrated out of necessity - looking at the way FT are treated in Singapore. I don't claim to be rich and fabulous like you do. I work hard and I am happy. Oh ya I do have 100% possession of a property now ( with my own hard earned money)
As for my parents , they choose to retire there to manage their assets and join their friends. But of course, coming from a sour grapes like a egoistical person llike you, you twist the facts because you cannot go

Our tiny voices are not even worth listening to. 66.6% of us voted. How many have regretted I do not know... I do not wish to know too. It's painful being apart from family. However if need be , you need to find your fortunes elsewhere.
When Singapore decides to welcome all Singaporeans into its arms warmly again, I will return to help out in any way I can. In the current situation, it is sad to see a country I once loved turn into a haven for foreign talents but not its own. -

I have not condemned Singapore in anyway, the government is not Singapore. I have issues with the government. I have issues about the policies. How policies have changed for the worse...

Like I say Club 30 is made out of Singaporeans from all walks of life. I hardly hear anything reeks of elitism in Club 30 except when you start your forum posting.
