i don't think they realise that the citizens are precious resources. they still have their FTs, remember? and i'm so damn sure they got the money to attract them if citizens decide to migrate!Originally posted by livspore2006:On the other hand, the govt realises that we only have people as our precious resources so we need to harness the best to boost the country economically.
i think people here keep changing jobs is to keep up with the living standards.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:If there's a high chance of working way past 40 years old...
We have to change jobs because the situation forces us to.
Japanese are known for their loyalty, you can't compare that. Just ask yourself how loyal are you to your company. Have you ever had a job change? If you have, what's your reason for doing so? You know it, I know it.
haha, i'm ignorant when it comes to politics.Originally posted by charlize:Have you been living under a rock at East Coast Park?
Ask LL.
Maybe he might direct you to her pic online.
Japanese knew that the company would take care of them for stretching their limits.......In Singapore...Do we have? Which company will take care you till your less breath? Which company will take care of like part of their own family? Mind you....In japan...there's no such thing like 99 years lease of housing...ALL ARE FREEFOLD. THAT'S THE VALUE THAT WERE WORTH TO STRUGGLE FOR.....although it maybe extreme expensive in urban areas...where as far from cites or sub-urban housing could be cheaper than Singapore!!!Originally posted by yuehan:I am not sure which country have pension policy. But I know Japan practice that, and the reason that I see why their Garment did that is because the employer and employed status will be a long lasting one.
1 Japanese man, in his life will only work for 1 company.
1 Singapore man, average will work for at least 3 company. The mindset of people are different.
Japanese basically do everything within their limits for their company, as they know that if their company contiune to run after he / she retire, they will get their pension. They care for the company like its part of their own family business despite their salary and status in the company. Do YOU.
Although, Taiwan politics id hovoc....but how much does it affecting the commoners....from what I know the commoners are far better than common sinkaporeans!!!!!Originally posted by yuehan:Why don't you compare Africa?

MM Lee is far from comparison with Bill Gates...The least I I know....NOT as generous as Bill Gates for sure!!!Originally posted by yuehan:Hmmm, why should they not benchmarks themselves with people like Bill Gates? Well maybe not all of them. But I certianly feel that Mr. MM Lee does qualify to benchmarks himself with Bill Gates.
But Ms. Wee (the blogger)'s father.. I think with his kinda of mindset, its better he quit politics and continue something else. Running a private business more suitable for this family, since they are quite blind. Politics are for people who makes people happy, not irritated. Even if there's no action, you must ga-rang ga-rang and say something to make people happy.
BTW, i noticed that alot of Graduate from local universites are so idoit. They may have known alot of theories, but they can't do a simple task like using the excel the way its supposed to be used. (i.e. using formulars instead of calculator for figures).
