Sg NO OBJECTION to gay/lesbian?

many would say sg is very conservative.
But why it legalised registered brothels some 35 years ago?
2.why sg allow un-related unmarried, divorced or widowed singles,same sex or opposite sex ,to buy public housing(HDB flat)or private property?
The Joint Singles Scheme of HDB allows two to four single citizens to jointly buy an HDB flat from the open market.
3.In allowing un-related opposite sex buying a flat,does sg showing''NO OBJECTION'' to sex without marriage?Of course,there are many opposite
sex buying a flat but without sexual relatioship.
4.In allowing same sex buying a flat and assuming them staying
together,does sg ''NO OBJECTION''to gay or lesbian?
Of course,there are many same
sex buying a flat but without sexual orientation to other co owner/s.
5.i really dunt understand this policy and many says sg is very conservative.
A conservative government would never allow un--related joint singles scheme.

consenting adults in private place,laws will not intervene.
The HDB joint singles schemes has been implemented for some 10 years.
This is different from promoting gay/lesbian.Some criminal laws still
exist for gay/lesbian. -

The govt want to quickly sell away the flats on the hand mah. This is also to promote jointed ventures ie buy flat and rent. Biz opportunities for both govt and investers.

in plain language,Sg is OK with gay/lesbian to consenting adults.
But Sg government is NOT promoting gay/lesbian.
I remember govt allow gay/lesbian work in government
,even in high positions.But they have to declare.

nope, i think in western countries, you do not even have to declare that you are a gay/lesbian..

Well, actually I know some government scholars who are gay. However, the government has yet to legalise certain things like homosexual anal sex and gay marriages, so we can't really say we are that open about it.

Sg is okay on gay / lesbian but its not ok on gay / lesbian act. Hence, its alright if one declares he is gay, he & another single guy purchase a HDB flat (meeting the age requirements of course), perform any sexual acts between two consenting adults behind closed doors. Its okay, no one cares.
Its the performance of the sex acts in public or if it constitutes a harassment, then its illegal. Come to think of it, even if a male & female make out in public & get caught, its still illegal. its nothing to do with gay or not.
Of course, i will not complain if two lesbians make out in front of me / in my view cos I will shut up & just watch. But two gays? Hmm...I have nothing against gays but ps keep those acts behind closed doors.
But I think whilst the government have came out in the open to declare their reception, they have no choice but to do so, otherwise, they may risk sending out the wrong message to the international scene. Or perhaps, there's someone / a pool of talent that they are trying to attract that have this sexual preference. In any case, the government is the government, the society will take a longer time to accept.
But the ultimate will be, if one of our MP came forward to declare or the government appoint a gay (gay or lesbian) to be in the cabinet. let see the government do that to signal its openess to homosexuality.
