Big Renovations for next year

  Have you all noticed? Recently, there seem to be some renovations going on in all the GRC's. Like they are preparing for some VIP's or what.
  
  Near my block in hougang green, there is some pruning of plants, repainting of blocks and building of playgrounds... sianz. All a facade in my opinion.
  
  The best of all is they are tearing away playgrounds to build playgrounds

  Yeah do go check out the bicycle lanes in Pasir Ris. They are really a sight to behold. Marvellous, and I am kidding you not. Infact everyone should go see it.

  I heard from my frds at Aljunied GRC that PAP has given away calendar 2007 to every households there . The mayor and MPs had also visited the GRC markets eveyweekend .

  I didn't recieve any calender, only the monthly magazine with LHL face on the cover. But the worse has to be an article on Cynthia Phua.

  I m sorry to tell u that my frd is living in a condominium at Alj GRC.He told me that he did receive the monthly magazine but there r more advertisemnts than articles in the magazine.
  
  Will read the article about Cynthia Phua and revert with my opinions about it.

  oh the calendar with their pretencious smile and hip hop dancing on it.. yes, got that. The only good it does is to remind me not to vote for them.
  
  Calendar is no big sh!t. I have personal service from my insurance agent who calls me up every year to ask if I want calendar and diaries.

  I got 2 magazines in my mailbox. Didn't even bother to read them.. They went straight to the trash ...
