This incident reminded me of a classic Chinese story I read as a child. A rich neighbour (A) brought a poor neighbour (B) to court because (B) smelled the aroma coming from (A)'s food and managed to eat his rice everyday.
The wise judge asked (B) to pay (A) a few coins as punishment. While hearing the sound from counting of the coins, the wise judge ruled that since (A) had 'illegally' heard the coin counting sound, (A) should also pay (B) as a punishment.
Is this classic story similar to our present day incident? Should we punish the offenders for logging on using others WIFI?
