On the contrary, Thaksin has actually created immense wealth for him, his relatives and his elite supporters during the past five years. Corrupt practices like tax reduction, granting government project contracts, business privileges, getting rid of business rivals, building monopolies and as well as many other insider methods of ensuring his growing wealth. He came up with many government policies that increased the barriers to entry for many businesses that he has a hand in.Originally posted by Dr Who:Hey hello......this is SGFORUMS.......how come we got a Thai lurking here......
He betray Thailand? Because he sold Shin Corp to Singapore company?
Now you want to rob us?
I am as Singaporean as you are in every sense. Angry as I am like you, I would say Temasek Holdings has itself to blame. If you break the law, the law will catch up with you one day.Originally posted by Dr Who:Wow.....another Thai boy katoey in here.........Speaker's Corner is now Little Thailand.
Anyway, Temasek's money belongs to people of Singapore.
If the Thais steal our money, it is self defence to fight back. Otherwise we would be seen to be easily raped.........by Thai boys.......
Mmh I wonder who that fellow is...Originally posted by mistyblue:he reap what he sows.

Yes to a certain extend I agree with you, corrupted as he was, at least he still implemented policies that really helped the poor. And this policies are really useful for the poor. Those who has been to the poorer parts of Thailand can attest to this.Originally posted by Dr Who:Many Thai politicians are corrupt, but they gave the poor nothing.
Thaksin may be corrupt, but at least he did something for the poor like cheap healthcare. He is still well-loved in the North-East (Chengmai area)
Which politician is 100% clean? Let's be realistic here.........
