Furniture that was specially brought in for the IMF/World Bank meetings in September is now being sold off.
From office desks to bar stools, almost every piece of furniture used during the IMF/World Bank meetings is for sale.
And the official meeting site contractor Pico Art says more than 20,000 pieces have already been snapped up since September.
According to Pico General Manager, Mr Chua Kok Piaw, the biggest buyers are institutions like churches, schools and statutory boards.
But there are still several hundred pieces left at its Kallang warehouse.
Due to the good response, Pico says it plans to hold similar sales after major exhibitions in future. - CNA /ls
