I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question but i guess its the closest.
I wish to ask if it is common practice to round down the figure contributed into our own CPF account, both from our salary and employer? I realise they always seem to ignore the figures after the decimal point. Having decimal pts is common as our CPF contribution is caculated in terms of percentages. This small sum can eventually add up to be quite substantial.
Just wish to find out if there is a practical reason for the accounts dept to do so.
Thanks
